How to Change Server Versions
A guide on how to change your server’s software versions.

First Step
Log in to your Wepwawet Control Panel

Second Step
Select your server.

Third Step
- Make sure to Turn OFF the Server

Fourth Step
- Create a Backup of the Server If you don’t know how to make a backup, Here’s our article on How to make a backup

Fifth Step
- Under the Minecraft Section, Go to the Version tab and search for the version you want to install.

Sixth Step
- Click on the Install button

Seventh Step
- Start your Server afterward.
Note:
i) Depending on the server version, the Docker Image also needs to be changed.
To know what java version to use, refer to the following:
1. 1.8 -> 1.16.5 use java 8 or newer 2. 1.17 -> 1.18 use java 17 or newer
ii) If you are downgrading the server version (for example: from 1.18.2 to 1.18.1), you have to reset your world for the server to start
